Partnership Set Up

All organisations that meet certain criteria are eligible to become members of Middlesbrough Partnership. Representation is from the public, private, business, community and voluntary sectors at a local level.

There are many ways that individuals and organisations can get involved in the work that we do. Our structures are as follows:

Partnership Executive Board
The Partnership Executive Board meets on a six weekly basis and provides management and direction for Middlesbrough Partnership. The Executive Board is responsible for the development and performance management of the Sustainable Community Strategy and the Partnership’s contribution to the Local Area Agreement (LAA). The LAA is a set of priorities for the local area agreed between central government, a local area and other key partners at local level.

Action Groups
An Action Group supports each theme of the Sustainable Community Strategy. The main purpose of the Action Groups is to work towards and implement the priorities that have been set and agreed in the SCS and LAA

Middlesbrough Partnership Forum

Middlesbrough Partnership has established a quarterly Partnership Forum to provide increased opportunity for involvement from partner agencies, including the voluntary and community sector.

The forums are open to all members of Middlesbrough Partnership and are focused on key strategic issues for Middlesbrough.  They provide the opportunity for shared understanding and the establishment of partnership working to address key issues.
