Health and Social Care Partnership
The Health and Social Care Partnership is chaired by Dr Peter Heywood FFPH - Locality Director of Public Health, Middlesbrough Council and Middlesbrough Primary Care Trust.
This group examines the main problems that lead to ill-health, especially in relation to lifestyles or health inequalities, and works towards addressing these. The group is identifying reasons why people from more disadvantaged backgrounds tend to have poorer health and die younger than those from more affluent backgrounds.
