One Children's Workforce Tool

The One Children's Workforce Tool is a self-assessment tool to work out where we are up to in developing a world-class children's workforce - a workforce that is reformed and integrated and making the best contribution possible to local Every Child Matters outcomes and the Children and Young People's Plan.

Visit the framework at http://onechildrensworkforce.cwdcouncil.org.uk

In order to assess where we are we need to involve all key agencies who are part of the Children's Trust. You are welcome to attend focus groups and workshops. Dates can be viewed on the consultation calendar of the Middlesbrough Partnership website. Your involvement in this process is key to success.

On this page, we will be updating what you have told us and what we have done in response on a six-weekly basis. All information is reviewed by the One Children's Workforce Sub Group . The actions might not entirely reflect the actions you told us, but often actions fall under a wider umbrella, or no actions have been put in place yet.

Furthermore, there is a link to a common glossary and acronym list for the children's workforce.

Last but not least, any important policy documents are also attached, such as the Information Sharing Policy.

If you require any information about the One Children's Workforce Tool, the One Children's Workforce Tool Sub Group or if you would like to become involved, please contact Jolande Mace, Workforce Development Assistant, on 728 512 or via e-mail jolande_mace@middlesbrough.gov.uk.
