Involving Residents via Cluster Groups and Community Forums
Introduction
The Community Forum aims to engage with residents in Middlesbrough about issues that affect their areas. It provides a mechanism for residents to influence the work of Middlesbrough Partnership and key service providers including the Police, Primary Care Trust and Middlesbrough Council. Each Community Council elects up to four People to sit on their area Cluster Group (North, East, West, South). Ward Councillors are also Cluster Group members.

The Cluster Groups meet together on a quarterly basis, as the Community Forum, which consists of a consultation on a town wide issue, i.e. transport, and a meeting to discuss Cluster issues. All Cluster Group representatives are invited to the Community Forums.
The Community Forum and Cluster Groups are supported by an Area Cluster Worker, Louise Peel. If you have any Cluster Group related issues or would like to learn more about the Community Forum and Cluster Groups, please contact Louise on the below details:

How can I become involved?
The first stage would be to get involved with your local Community Council. These are community meetings based in each area of the town and will be advertised locally.
If you are interested in attending your local Community Council meeting, then please contact Lynn Waters, Senior Resource Worker on 01642 729041.
