Boro Angels!
INFORMATION FOR VOLUNTEERS
Who are we?
Boro Angels are volunteers of all ages who offer support in Middlesbrough at times when individuals may become unexpectedly vulnerable.
What is our aim?
To provide a caring presence in Middlesbrough Town Centre to try and make a contribution to the safety and well being of people who are out at night.
What do we do?
We are volunteers who will put our energies into building good relationships with all who are out ‘on the town’ to enjoy themselves, and the owners of the pubs and clubs and other businesses, taxi drivers, police and the emergency services, and those in the Council responsible for Middlesbrough.
We will also do some practical tasks such as, directly seeking out those who have become vulnerable, sign posting to local services, offering flip flops to those in need, and helping people to find ways of getting home.

Volunteers
The first and most important need is you. This work cannot commence without the self sacrifice from people to give up their time to be volunteers working in the town centre of Middlesbrough from 10pm to 2am (approximately), on Saturday nights, and supporting behind the scenes.
