Free Financial Awareness Training
Middlesbrough Partnership's Financial Inclusion Group has developed a FREE one-day Financial Awareness Training Course for partners. This course is aimed at individuals who come into regular contact with residents and will be delivered by John Cottey from the Citizens Advice Bureau.
Course content will focus on:
The warning signs of potential debt problems
Dealing with debt
Choosing Credit
Savings
Benefits Advice
Energy Best Deal / Warmth Support Schemes
Signposting Middlesbrough Communities to help/support available for all of the above issues
The course will give an overview of the issues above and will provide delegates with information around where and how to signpost individuals for help and support. The course programme is attached for information. Following attendance on the course all delegates will be provided with information to enable them to effectively signpost residents.

All courses will commence at 9.30 am and conclude at 3.00 pm. All will be held in Thorntree Community Centre.

We anticipate that interest in this course will be extremely high and will allocate places on a first come first served basis.
